Palm Beach, Florida
A 27 year old woman called 911 three times Saturday 28 February to report that a McDonald’s employee wasn’t giving her a refund for the chicken nuggets she wanted.
When police arrived at the scene she told them that she ordered 10 piece McNuggets menu, paid and received the change and then was told that McDonald’s run out of McNuggets. The woman then tried to get a refund but the cashier told her it was against McDonald’s policies and that all sales are final. Therefore she was “instructed” to buy a McDouble.
This is what she told in one of the 3 calls:
The manager just took my money and won’t give me my money back, trying to make me get something off the menu that I don’t want. I ordered chicken nuggets. They don’t have chicken nuggets, and so I told her, ‘Just give me my money back,’ and she tells me I have to pick something else off the menu. She is not going to give me my money back, and she don’t have the right to take my money.
According to the report, when the police told the woman that the incident wasn’t an emergency she replied:
This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn’t have McNuggets, I wouldn’t have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don’t want one. This is an emergency.
Of course like any other “life threatening national security reasons” the television was present at the scene. And, of course, there was some extremely intelligent people interviewed and their personal opinion was quoted as necessary. One of the enlighten one told WPBF News 25:
That’s a little overboard, that’s way too much, way extreme for chicken nuggets. They’re not that great.
What on god green earth is wrong with you people?
The woman couldn’t get a refund due to attitude problems of a McDonald’s employee.
Yeah, the incident was not really a 911 emergency, but lets be honest now. If she didn’t made that call for three times actually, she would never see her money back.
The resolution is somewhere in between. Why? Because, the woman was issued a written notice to appear in court for misusing the 911 emergency communications system.
Why? Because she’s black?
Isn’t that cute? Put yourself in her situation. What would you do?
So, the question(s) arises; If a black people gets robbed, he(she) automatically gets 60% of the guilt, simply because of his(hers) skin color.
This is not fair at all.
But, like any good American citizen, also like any other manager who has big fat dick waiting to get up his ass because in this crisis is not wise to lose customers, Carlos Solorzano, operations manager for all McDonald’s restaurants in Florida, issued a statement Tuesday apologizing for the incident.
And this is his statement:
Satisfying each and every customer that visits our restaurants is very important to us, regarding this isolated incident, we apologize for the inconvenience caused. In the event that we are unable to fill an order, a customer should be offered the choice of a full refund or alternative menu items. We regret that in this instance, that wasn’t the case.
We want to correct our mistake. We will be sending the customer her refund, along with an invitation to return for her original order, on us. We never want to disappoint a McNuggets fan or any McDonald’s customer. Customer satisfaction is our top priority.
So, the woman should be somehow happy now, issued in court, and all of this due to a sad unsatisfied poor McDonald’s cashier who got a bad day because of a motherfucker that, guess what? he(she) also got a bad day due to another bloody idiot… Oh, I love chaos theory, don’t you?
Of course if you people were not such a McDonald’s fan you would never bump into that kind of problems and the police could take care of some proper 911 emergencies.
This is indeed a front page worthy news…
Woman calls 911 because she couldn’t get her McNuggets.
The reason I did not told the woman’s name is because I find this “incident” another black and white problem and therefore instead of being so mediated it should be properly eliminated.
