Ever wonder what font they used while reading your favorite magazine, or after seeing a commercial?
I certainly did. And I remember spending hours on the internet looking through font databases for one particular font which I saw in a TV commercial.
In most of the cases I didn’t find what I was looking for and that if I was lucky enough to remember what the font looked like after bombarding my visual memory with hundreds of fonts.
Ok. As unprofessional it may sound it represents the best the problems I encountered in Photoshop CS4.
First of all I should explain the problem.
I have installed on my system the entire Adobe Creative Suite 4. My system consists in:
WinXP Professional 32bit with SP3 installed
2Gb RAM
Ati HD3870 – drivers up to date
Core 2 Duo E8400 (3GHz)
And more than 13Gb free space on system’s partition on which Ps CS4 is installed.
The Photoshop CS4 lag was experienced when I excessively used the Brush and/or Clone Stamp tool(s) and consists in a delay in executing the respective command (sometimes up to 2 seconds – depending on how much I use one of the previously mentioned tools). I was surprised and still am that Adobe left this issue (bug) on the final release.

A 27 year old woman called 911 three times Saturday 28 February to report that a McDonald’s employee wasn’t giving her a refund for the chicken nuggets she wanted.
When police arrived at the scene she told them that she ordered 10 piece McNuggets menu, paid and received the change and then was told that McDonald’s run out of McNuggets. The woman then tried to get a refund but the cashier told her it was against McDonald’s policies and that all sales are final. Therefore she was “instructed” to buy a McDouble.
This is what she told in one of the 3 calls:
The manager just took my money and won’t give me my money back, trying to make me get something off the menu that I don’t want. I ordered chicken nuggets. They don’t have chicken nuggets, and so I told her, ‘Just give me my money back,’ and she tells me I have to pick something else off the menu. She is not going to give me my money back, and she don’t have the right to take my money.
If you meet Firefox, it’s all you can think about.
She just puts so much stuff in your memory!
Even though she may drive you crazy, men find it hard to dump Firefox. It’s not because of herself, it’s more because of the stuff she gets from that huge bunch of her admirers. All those gadgets you can use anytime while dating her makes your life so much easier.
Oh, if only other women were so open for gifts…
This might sound a little geek-ish, but I can assure you it will worth the 5 minutes you spent reading it. So, bare with me.
A human cell contains 75 Mb of genetic information; therefore a sperm cell (spermatozoon) contains 37.5 Mb. In a cubic milliliter of sperm there are 100 million sperm cells. In average, 2.25 ml of sperm it’s released in 5 seconds per one ejaculation. So, logically, the cock’s bandwidth is:
(37.5Mb x 100 mil x 2.25ml)/5 = 1 687 500 000 000 000 Mb = 1687.5 Tb/s (Terabytes per second).
This is the most inefficient way to use a communication environment. You’re broadcasting with 1687.5 Tb/s with the same set of information (huge redundancy!) with the hope that 37.5Mb (from 1687.5 Tb) will arrive to destination. Plus there’s a huge latency, you receive the ACK (acknowledgement) in about 2 months, and the answer of your request is forming in 9 months. And most of the time is just spam! That explains the saying: “My NET is working like a dick!”.

Ok. This might seem a little awkward, but there are some times when nothing seems to work properly. In my case, Adobe’s Creative Suite 3. My problem Was that with Adobe CS3 installed and working I ran Adobe Photoshop CS4 Portable. When I first open the Photoshop CS4 .exe file I received an error stating [...]
